2000 years ago, Matthew Mark, Luke and John wrote the gospels. They wanted everyone to see this Jesus, understand His heart and follow Him fully. The gospel writers are our first 4 witnesses to Jesus. For those of us who hear and trust their words and would receive the grace that His blood bought for us. We are that fifth witness. We are the ones he has placed here so the world around us might see and taste and feel and experience the welcoming love of the Father through us. We are those that God is trusting to be witnesses of Jesus to everyone around us.
We will be partnering with Westerville Parks and Recreation to make a difference in our own community by beautifying a local park. We’d like to have 40-50 people help, so please join us and wear shoes or boots that can get dirty. If you’d like, also bring your own gloves, shovels, rakes or wheelbarrows.
We are taking a first step exploring the possible opportunities that may exist in the Genoa Township community. Even in “A Nice Place To Live” there are still needs among the almost 26,000 residents that call Genoa Township home. Join us to help identify those needs, share opportunities to engage and uncovering the potential blessing we can be.
What does it look like to listen and be present with the homeless for a day? We are partnering with Columbus Relief to bring toiletries and supplies to meet everyday needs of the homeless through this unique bus ministry. Come be a champion for a day and engage in the mission of Columbus Relief to mobilize, empower, restore, and satisfy the needs of the oppressed.
We will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build a house for a Columbus family that needs extra support. The entire frame of the house will be built in the Bridge’s parking lot and then the work we do will be transferred to the purchased property to be assembled. It’s an incredibly fun and rewarding time working alongside some of our refugee friends, whom we serve at the Bridge, to help a family’s dreams come true.
