Here in our city today, we too mourn the death of one of our own, one of our children, one of our sons.
On Friday, Casey Goodson, a young black man, entering his home after picking up a sandwich was shot and killed in what appears to be a case of mistaken identity at the hands of a Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy. We mourn the death of this young man, we pray for his family and friends and we stand in solidarity with them win this time of loss.
We also urge a full, free, and disclosed investigation and call on our County leaders to implement such an investigation as soon as possible.
We at Heritage stand with our brothers and sisters in the Columbus area faith community and support their shared statement.

Currently, weekend services are available online, on demand, and onsite Sundays at 9am & 11am.
We would love to communicate with you during the week via email. If you’re not currently receiving email from Heritage, sign up now.

We are only able to open up our in-person service to about 200 at this point, so please make sure you register in advance. We would ask that due to contact tracing and social distancing limitations, you would plan to stay home if you are unable to sign up.
The building will be closed and all activities cancelled whenever:
• Westerville City Schools classes or evening activities are cancelled due to inclement weather, or
• A Level 2 or 3 snow emergency is declared for Delaware County.
Weekend worship services will be held unless a Level 3 snow emergency is in effect for Delaware County.
We are concerned for your safety; please do not feel obligated to attend or serve at any ministry activity if you feel uncomfortable driving in the weather conditions.
