COVID-19 Update

updated June 5

In response to the governor’s orders, the building and offices are not open at this time. Our reopen plans do begin with a 9am in-person service happening Sunday, July 5. More details can be found on our reopen page.

Our weekend worship services will continue to be streamed online each weekend. We again thank you for your continued flexibility during this time.

How can we care for the congregation?

There are practical ways that people need help during this time, and as the church, we want to respond and serve others. If you’re willing to do something or if you need assistance, please let us know at the buttons below.

If you need help, complete the form at the link below to let us know how we can help you in the days ahead.

Complete the form at the link below and let us know how you could help support and care for our neighbors during this unprecedented time.

If you have a specific prayer need, please call 614-665-0271 and leave a message, or you can submit a prayer request online. Someone from the Care Team will call back and pray for you.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Tuesday, June 9, 1pm
Heritage is an American Red Cross Community partner hosting blood drives throughout the calendar year. Donors are always needed and may register for an appointment by using the online scheduling system on the Red Cross website.

Although we can’t minister directly inside the prisons, Kindway has been granted permission to collect cards of encouragement for those at the two Ohio prisons in which they serve; Ohio Reformatory for Women and Marion Correctional Institution; Marion being one of the most affected prisons in the country. Kindway’s goal is 5000 cards.

  • We may write a message encouraging them in Christ
  • We may write that we are praying for them
  • We may write them in pen or marker
  • We may address them to “Friend” or “Dear Friend”
  • We may sign them as “Your Friend in Christ,” “Your Friend,” “Your ‘Brother’ or ‘Sister’ in Christ,” or “Heritage Christian Church.”

  • We may NOT address them to any particular person
  • We may NOT sign them individually
  • We may NOT use crayon
  • We may NOT send in cards with folds, pockets, or glued construction
  • We may NOT send cards in envelopes
  • We may NOT send cards with glitter

The following links to cards are provided as examples.

Our target date for collecting all the cards is Sunday, June 7, but you can drop them off anytime before then at the green bin by the Heritage Kids entrance.
