COVID-19 Update

updated December 23

Our building and offices are open, and classes, groups, and worship services are happening in the building while we follow the state’s health mandate to wear masks and following local health guidelines to socially distance.

As you probably know, the COVID numbers in Ohio and across the country continue to rise. We continue to hear of more and more people in our circles contracting COVID. This virus is here affecting each of us, and we must make wise and careful choices. Governor DeWine directly addressed large events such as wedding and funerals, and emphasized that the services were not the main spreader, but the socializing afterwards.

At this point, we continue with in-person services, but must be diligent in continuing to enforce our policies of social distancing and mask wearing, and minimize the socializing where people come in close contact with one another. Those who are not in the same household must remain 6 feet apart and wearing masks.

We want our church to be an environment where staff feel safe to do their work, and congregants feel safe to participate and to worship. So we remain open, and ministries continue, but we must remain vigilant. Thank you for your help in maintaining a healthy environment at Heritage.

Our indoor services happen at 9am and 11am on Sundays.

What does weekend worship look like?

Our worship services are on Sundays at 9am & 11am and feature live, band-led music, singing, and a live message.

Seats are separated by six feet of empty space & masks are required.

Our normal online services remain available on Sunday mornings. People who watch online and people who attend in-person hear the same message.

What does Heritage Kids look like?

Heritage Kids has reopened with modifications only at our 11am service! Additional service times may be added, depending on the need and the number of volunteers available.

Early childhood classes for 1-year-olds through PreK, are available, but limited in capacity and will resume Sunday, January 10.
