Red Cross Blood Drive

Tuesday, October 13, 1-7pm

Heritage is an American Red Cross Community partner hosting blood drives throughout the calendar year. Donors are always needed and may register for an appointment by using the online scheduling system on the Red Cross website.

Although we can’t minister directly inside the prisons, Kindway has been granted permission to collect cards of encouragement for those at the two Ohio prisons in which they serve; Ohio Reformatory for Women and Marion Correctional Institution; Marion being one of the most affected prisons in the country. Kindway’s goal is 5000 cards.

Do’s

• We may write a message encouraging them in Christ
• We may write that we are praying for them
• We may write them in pen or marker
• We may address them to “Friend” or “Dear Friend”
• We may sign them as “Your Friend in Christ,” “Your Friend,” “Your ‘Brother’ or ‘Sister’ in Christ,” or “Heritage Christian Church.”

Don’ts

• We may NOT address them to any particular person
• We may NOT sign them individually
• We may NOT use crayon
• We may NOT send in cards with folds, pockets, or glued construction
• We may NOT send cards in envelopes  
• We may NOT send cards with glitter

Our pastors and directors have written a number of devotions that we are sharing daily on weekdays. Sign up using the form below to get a devotional from our pastors emailed to you each morning, Monday through Friday.

Will the church building be open on Tuesday, March 17 for polling?

No. After a late evening order from the Ohio Department of Health, the primary & other elections will be moved to June. Our building will NOT be open for polling today . No other activities or groups will be meeting in our building also.
